Interactive Whiteboards
In becoming a 21st Century School, Skycrest recently purchased and installed seventeen Promethean Activboards for all 1st-8th grade classrooms (over $100,000 investment). Skycrest also purchased student response systems to work in conjunction with the Promethean boards. These hand-held devices empowers students to take an active role in their own learning and enables the teacher to connect with an entire class, while teaching based on the needs of individuals.

• Students in grades 1st-4th use the Activote.
• Students in grades 5th-8th use the Active Expression. Not only can students answer multiple choice or binary questions, but also they can "text" the answer to the teacher.

BrainPOP, Britannica SmartMath, and Discovery Education United Streaming are online services subscribed to by Skycrest. These websites provide engaging, supplemental resources for teachers to incorporate in their lessons.
